SOny W is out : trend setter of pocket laptops

Officially, Sony has jumped into the netbook laptop free-for-all with the Viao W. As you may remember, the Sony P isn’t officially a netbook but a lifestyle PC. The Viao W, however, is officially a netbook and looks like a netbook, too, and like most Sony laptops, this netbook is one notch better than competition, especially on the screen resolution. Available in pre-order now and release date in a month. I like.

10.1-inch 1,366 x 768 screen
Intel Atom N280 CPU
1GB RAM
160GB
SD slot + memory stick slot
802.11n
Bluetooth
webcam
Windows XP
2.6 pounds

Available in white, pink or brown, the specs are not too impressive for a machine that’s going to launch for around $500. The Vaio W includes; a 10.1″ screen, an Atom N280 processor, 1GB of RAM, Windows XP and a 160GB hard drive.
It’s 2.6lb in weight and will come with a higher than average resolution screen, at 1,366×768 as well as bluetooth and 802.11n wifi.
